I’ve Got Rhythm: MusicTalks tribute to the Gershwins @ Central Park
Join the MusicTalks string ensemble for a special tribute to the Gershwins!
The concert will feature beloved music from Porgy and Bess, American in Paris, Nice Work if You Can Get It, and a special tribute to Rhapsody in Blue. As in every MusicTalks concert, host Elad Kabilio will offer fascinating anecdotes about George and Ira Gershwin's legendary career and contribution to the history of musical theater and classical music.
Swing by for a lovely, relaxing sunset concert. Audience members are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs for their comfort and something to drink or snack on.
In case of inclement weather, the concert will move to a nearby indoor venue.
Family or date night friendly.
Location: near West 63rd Street entrance to Central Park. Exact address will be provided to ticket holders on the day of the concert!
