Resounding Silents: The General
Enjoy a captivating screening of the 1926 classic The General, starring the legendary Buster Keaton with a new original score by Anthime Miller performed live by our Resounding Silents Ensemble. This American silent slapstick Western action comedy, inspired by the true events of the Great Locomotive Chase during the American Civil War, promises to delight and entertain audiences of all ages!
Friday, June 28th at 7:30 PM and Saturday, June 29th at 2:00 PM, "The General" will come to life with a new score, performed live by our talented orchestra. Witness the brilliance of Keaton's performance and the thrill of this timeless story, enhanced by an evocative musical backdrop that reimagines the original film's score for modern audiences.
