Guitar Masters Series: ROTEM SIVAN
"Celebrated guitarist Rotem Sivan, hailed for his exceptional talent worldwide, takes center stage with his trio at Zinc on Monday, March 11. The New York Times lauds him as “more than a very good young guitar player,” and Downbeat Magazine recognizes him as “a remarkable talent.” He’s supported by bassist Joe Martin and drummer Karl Ouaback.
Rotem’s musical journey includes studies in classical composition and jazz performance, where he excelled with honors at Tel Aviv University and The New School in NYC. With a rigorous touring schedule, Rotem and his band grace the stages of renowned festivals and clubs worldwide. His performances span countries like France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Poland, Slovenia, Mexico, Chile, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Israel, the UK, Canada, and India, among others. Additionally, he shares his expertise through workshops at esteemed universities and schools globally.
