The GRAMMY Museum is thrilled to present an intimate conversation with Brittney Spencer followed by a performance at The Greene Space in NYC. The conversation will include a discussion about the making of her latest project, My Stupid Life, her creative process, career, and more.

Brittney Spencer is one of the many artists to be featured in the GRAMMY Museum’s New York City program series, which includes bringing a slate of the GRAMMY Museum’s renowned GRAMMY In The Schools Education Programs and Public Programs to the East Coast. “A New York Evening With…” is generously supported by the Dawn and Brian Hoesterey Family Foundation.

ABOUT BRITTNEY SPENCER

As a Baltimore native, Brittney Spencer is known for her free spirit and standout ability to mold life, truth, and wild imagination into songs. Spencer — who has already been crowned “Nashville’s new star” by CBS Mornings — has already been lauded by Washington Post, Rolling Stone, CBS Saturday, NPR Tiny Desk, TODAY Show, Good Morning America, The Daily Show, Austin City Limits, NPR All Things Considered, Wall Street Journal, Variety, Billboard, Consequence, TIDAL and more. Deemed a “one to watch” by PEOPLE Magazine, Spencer was featured as part of Victoria’s Secret Global “UNDEFINABLE” campaign and has shared stages with Jason Isbell, The Highwomen, Willie Nelson, Reba, Bobby Weir, and Maren Morris to name a few. She’s also performed the National Anthem at The 148th Kentucky Derby, the Preakness in 2022 alongside Megan Thee Stallion and Lauryn Hill, and the 2023 NFL Draft.

On January 19, she released her debut album 'My Stupid Life' via Elektra. Produced by Daniel Tashian with select songs produced by Marcus “MarcLo” Lomax and Romil Hemnan, the album features award-winning collaborators including Grace Potter, Maren Morris, Abbey Cone & Sarah Buxton, plus guitar contributions by Jason Isbell. Recently, she performed at the 2024 CMT Music Awards alongside Parker McCollum and just made her Billboard Hot 100 debut at #27 for her collaboration with Beyoncé for "Blackbiiird.” She’ll continue touring globally this year and recently performed at Stagecoach and Railbird.
