The Garden of Dreams Foundation, a non-profit charity that works closely with all areas of Madison Square Garden to "make dreams come true for children in crisis," is being honored by the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America with the Chris Grecious Award. Celebrity attendees will include The Radio City Rockettes and Santa Claus, Lawrence Tynes and Zak DeOssie of the New York Giants, actress Nikki Blonsky (Hairspray: The Movie), actor Steve Schrippa, and Garden of Dreams Board Member Matthew Modine. The award acknowledges exceptional dedication to the Make-A-Wish Foundation's mission by helping grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. The Garden of Dreams Foundation is receiving the Industry Icon Award. Other award recipients include Dave Matthews Band, the Philadelphia Phillies, Duff Goldman of Charm City Cakes (TV show Ace of Cakes) and WWE Superstar John Cena. The 2009 Radio City Christmas Spectacular will continue to amaze patrons both young and old who have made this cherished production America's #1 holiday show. For 77 years, the Christmas Spectacular has been a holiday tradition, making Radio City the ultimate Christmas destination for families everywhere. With dynamic Rockette performances, breathtaking special effects, dazzling costumes and astounding scenes, audiences of all ages will experience a whirlwind of Christmas joy in New York City without ever having to leave their seats! The Radio City Christmas Spectacular, starring the Radio City Rockettes, will run from November 17, 2009 through January 3, 2010. Prices range from $42 to $105.
