  • First Look Festival - This year's First Look Festival turns its gaze to Pirandello, featuring John Turturro in a series of staged readings of Henry IV, among other plays.

The Gayest Christmas Pageant Ever - Joe Marshall’s fast-paced holiday show takes over The Actors’ Playhouse with 24 actors playing over 40 characters. No one escapes unscathed as a small gay community theatre struggles to pull together their annual holiday pageant.  Expect all the Christmas fixins’: Santa, Jesus, a couple of wise men, an inn keeper, a militant black racist and a gaggle of drama queens.

The Heart is a Lonely Hunter - This adaptation of Carson McCullers' classic novel is a moving story of outcasts in the South during the Great Depression. It follows the story of deaf John Singer as he navigates the world without his dearest friend who has been committed to an asylum. When he moves to a small town, the locals flock to him as a newfound confidant, seeking compassion and understanding from the one person who needs it the most.

Inside Out - Conceived as a kind of valentine to the circus arts and their fearless practitioners, Inside Out, a new work from Sweden's nouveau cirque outfit Cirkus Cirkör, celebrates a culture of emotional and physical risk-taking. Appropriate for ages five and over, it features eight circus performers and five musicians from the band Irya's Playground. From its arresting first image of a woman embarking on an adventure with her heart pulsating outside of her body, the production, created and directed by Cirkus Cirkör founder Tilde Björfors, continually surprises with its spirited athleticism, witty and poignant narrative, and sophisticated aesthetic.

My Wonderful Day - Winnie lives in a world full of adults. She's off school for the day and has an essay to write: "My Wonderful Day." What better time to write it than today? What better opportunity than quietly seated unnoticed in a corner, while mother busies herself around the house? What better source of material than the bizarre and increasingly frenetic comings and goings of adults in the weird household in which she finds herself?

Peter and the Wolf - Sergei Prokofiev’s beloved masterpiece takes a fresh turn in this invigorating production narrated live by magnetic British film and stage actor Brian Blessed. Featuring an ensemble of eight musicians and ten dancers, this exciting U.S. premiere boasts a brand new prequel followed by the original 1936 composition. Peter's timeless adventures with Bird, Duck and Cat are staged with "tremendous visual flair" (The Herald, UK), seamlessly blending a whimsical score with modern dance and thrilling theater.

Post No Bills - The world premiere of Mando Alvarado's Post No Bills tells the story of Reyna as she flees the Texas border town she grew up in and arrives in the big city, with nothing but her dream of becoming a singer/songwriter. Taking up with a pair of street musicians, she discovers that love is violent, friendship is pain and the true music comes from the depths of your soul.

Radio City Christmas Spectacular 2009 - Every performance of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular is a glittering present full of fun and surprises for the whole family. Enjoy the flawless precision of the Radio City Rockettes in numbers like legendary "Parade of the Wooden Soldiers" and thrill as Santa takes you on a magical ride to his workshop at the North Pole where playful rag dolls come to life. And of course, as always, there’s the stunning reenactment of the first Christmas in the "Living Nativity."  Brilliantly grand and genuinely moving, this annual New York tradition creates family memories that last a lifetime!

Sneak Peek: A Musical Revue - Musical numbers from upcoming shows will be performed, and guests can enjoy a light reception Q&A with the cast and artistic staff, including director/TADA! Founder Nina Trevens.

Starship Pinafore - Hailing frequencies open! Greetings from Starship Pinafore! Formerly Gilbert & Sullivan's HMS Pinafore, it is now set in the 23rd century, in a galaxy far, far away and remains faithful to Gilbert's always timely satire and to Sullivan's timeless music. It's a meteor shower of laughs, full of aliens, androids, dastardly mutants and galactic traders. This Pinafore is like no other - a blend that will astonish and delight sci-finatics, Savoyards and theater lovers across the universe.

Wintuk - An exciting winter adventure about a boy's quest for snow, the show weaves thrilling acrobatics, breathtaking theatrical effects and memorable songs into an extraordinary journey to an imaginary land called Wintuk. In this playful musical bursting with the energy of the city and the magic of a wonderland, the boy and his companions deliver endless excitement, exhilaration and intrigue. This seasonal story features an international cast of 50 performers from Cirque du Soleil skilled in the art of delighting the whole family.

Wolves at the Window - Enter the offbeat world of Saki - one of the twentieth century's greatest satirists. Wolves at the Window encompasses a world full of macabre, acid and very funny characters, a world that drives a knife into upper class Edwardian life. After all, "Beauty is only sin deep..." H.H. Munro. Part of the sixth annual Brits Off Broadway Festival.

Wonder Woman: A Cabaret of Heroic Proportions! - Everyone's favorite Amazon is coming out of retirement and New York City is the first stop on her Magic Lasso Comeback Tour. Wonder Woman's new career as a karaoke lounge singer is paralleled by Dina, a DC Comics' lackey who discovers a high-flying future and her inner superheroine through her obsession with the Sapphic princess. Written and performed by Elizabeth Whitney.

Zero Hour - Starring Jim Brochu as Zero Mostel, Zero Hour is set at Mostel's West 28th Street painting studio where a naïve reporter attempts to interview the famously volatile actor, prompting an explosion of memory, humor, outrage, and juicy backstage lore. It is July 1977 and the actor is giving his final interview before leaving for the pre-Broadway tryout of The Merchant in Philadelphia. Mostel only played one performance as Shylock before his sudden death at the age of 62.
