OFF Stage: The East Village Fragments (City Guide Magazine)

(2 hrs.) A site-specific, multi-venue walking performance tour. As the journey proceeds, short scenes from landmark Off-Off Broadway plays will reawaken the actual sites where they originally premiered. Tours start on the trapezium-shaped traffic island at the center of Astor Place, which is home to the sculpture known popularly as "The Cube" (near East 8th St. and 4th Ave.). Thurs.-Sun., 7; 7:30; 8 & 8:30. Call for variations in schedule. (Through 6/30)
