Description: Clearpool, Putnam County's premier outdoor education and recreation facility, opens its 350 acres of preserved forestland for the March Nature Series Event: Maple Sugaring & Pancake Breakfast. February to March is the best time for making maple syrup. Visit the Clearpool sugarhouse for a demonstration of the sugaring process, then sit down to a hearty breakfast.
