National Geographic Crittercam: The World Through Animal Eyes - Mystic Aquarium
Through December 31, 2011 -

Swim through tropical landscapes with turtles, dive beneath the ice with penguins and forage in the forest with a family of bears — experience life as animals do in a new exhibition opening February 9, 2011 at Mystic Aquarium. Through interactive displays, firsthand footage and evocative environments, visitors to the exhibit can explore the many stories and animals that are part of the science and adventure of Crittercam. The exhibit focuses on Crittercam’s deployment on seals and sea lions, sharks, sea turtles, whales, penguins, bears and lions.

Writing the Garden: A Collection of Books from The New York Society Library and Elizabeth Barlow Rogers, Principal Founder of the Central Park Conservancy.

Books on display span more than 150 years and opening fresh vistas into the World of Gardens.

Writing the Garden will feature works by remarkable gardeners who wrote with great knowledge and deep passion stemming from their love of nature, plants, and horticulture.
