Vampires may be immortal, but it was a werewolf’s turn to be immortalized in wax at Madame Tussauds New York when the attraction unveiled its newest wax figure, Taylor Lautner, on November 15, 2012. Lautner, best known for playing brooding werewolf Jacob in the Twilight film series, arrived at the Times Square attraction just in time for the premiere of the newest Twilight film.
Styled in a tailored charcoal grey suit and black dress shirt with an open collar, Lautner’s figure was created by Madame Tussauds’ team of sculptors and studio artists over a period of four months to achieve amazingly accurate likenesses.
“It has been two years since we first unveiled our wax figure of Robert Pattinson,” said Stacy MacGregor, head of marketing for Madame Tussauds New York. “It was about time Team Jacob got their due.” Prominently located in the heart of Times Square, Madame Tussauds New York is open 365 days a year. Tickets and additional information is available at www.nycwax.com.
