All “big apple” souvenirs should taste this good! Mars Retail Group has unveiled a new Personalized Printer at M&M'S World New York, which will allow guests to create customized M&M’S® right in the store. Store visitors can select from a variety of images, as well as create customized messages that will be printed on M&M’S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies in about two minutes.
Guests can choose from 15 different colors and one mix blend, as well as select two images and create two customized messages to feature on their personalized M&M’S® blend. People will be able to select from an array of clip art images, including the “big apple,” “I Love NY,” the Statue of Liberty, as well as the New York Giants, New York Jets, New York Yankees and New York Mets logos, among others. Each M&M’S® Brand Milk Chocolate personalized blend will be available in 10 oz., 12 oz., 16 oz. and 32 oz. containers starting at $19.99.
“This newest Personalized Printer builds upon the success of our MY M&M’S® business, as well as the first personalized printer that was installed in the Las Vegas M&M’S® World in 2010,” said Susan Saideman, President, Mars Retail Group. “We’re certain that the addition of this newest hands-on interactive experience in our New York City store will make guests’ experience even more unforgettable.”
To celebrate the newest addition to the store, M&M’S® World enlisted New York Giants star Osi Umenyiora to create one of the first personalized blends from the machine, as well as unveil a special mosaic of the New York Giants logo that was created with more than 20,000 M&M’S® Brand Chocolate Candies. The special mosaic will be on display at M&M’S® World New York for two weeks.
Positioned in the heart of Times Square, M&M’S® World features 25,000 square feet on three levels that are packed with a huge range of exclusive M&M’S® chocolates and merchandise, including clothing, kitchenware, bedding, jewelry, and glassware, as well as seasonal items and specially-designed New York-themed M&M’S® branded products. The store, located at Broadway and 48th, is open daily from 10 a.m. to midnight.
