On Saturday, January 15th, join the Brooklyn Children's Museum for a special birthday celebration in honor of beloved civil rights hero Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. (birthday programs continue through January 17th from 10am-5pm), the continuation of W.O.R.D. UP! Made possible by the Verizon Foundation. Featuring commemorative readings by Congresswoman Yvette D. Clarke (1pm), the opening of the new visiting exhibit Night Journeys: An Adventure in the World of Sleep and Dreams, and a special dream art exhibit and mini-art workshop by Brooklyn-based artist Kristiana Pärn (www.kristianaparn.com) (2pm). All Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Weekend programs are included with Museum admission.
