BODIES...The Exhibition, located in Manhattan’s celebrated South Street Seaport (Exhibition Centre at the South Street Seaport, 11 Fulton St., 888-9BODIES; www.bodiestheexhibition.com), will welcome hundreds of tri-state students, downtown residents, NY locals and visitors to partake in the BODIES 5th Anniversary celebration on Friday, Nov. 19th, 2010. BODIES...The Exhibition will celebrate five years serving New York City with an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for “Most High Fives in One Hour.”
A BODIES representative will have only 60 minutes to slap skin, which is the largest organ in the body, with more than 408 people in order to break the record, which was set in Portland, Oregon in 1996. Check-in is 11am-noon, with the record-breaking attempt from noon to 1pm.
Hundreds of tri-state students, downtown residents, NY locals and visitors will join BODIES in the attempt, which will take place on The Seaport’s historic cobblestone streets. Known for breathtaking views and offering a slice of old New York, The Seaport has been the home of BODIES...The Exhibition since it opened in November 2005.
The public is welcome to join in the record-breaking attempt; in addition to making history, participants will receive a free visit to BODIES…The Exhibition and a commemorative t-shirt (subject to availability).
