42nd Street’s renowned music venue, B. B. King Blues Club & Grill, is celebrating a milestone birthday this summer. With a month-long celebration in June, including performances by music legends Patti LaBelle and Chuck Berry, B.B. Kings is gearing up to show New York City exactly why it has been one of the premier music venues this past decade.
Conveniently located in the heart of Times Square, The B.B. King Blues Club & Grill offers music fans of every genre a truly unique experience. Owned by the Bensusan Family, proprietors of the world-renowned Blue Note Jazz Club and Highline Ballroom, the club features world-class musical talent and consists of two distinct spaces: the Showcase Room & Lucille’s Grill. The 11,000 square foot space can hold up to 1,000 people and boasts a mahogany framed, bi-level bar & grill complete with colorful contemporary art and signature saxophone beer taps on the famous 40-foot bar. Lucille’s has its own stage for small performances or meetings making it the perfect location for any event up to 350. With two-tiered, horseshoe-shaped seating (booths & tables) centered around a 30-foot stage, allowing for up close and personal views of all performances, seeing a show or holding an event at this NYC landmark is truly remarkable.
